- A magic pixel (mgc pxl) is a popular term from the fighting game community which describes a phenomenon where a player defeats a round or level with an extremely low amount of health remaining, and/or when a function in the game allows invincibility after losing a certain amount of health, as to prevent the player from dying. For example, if you defeat an opponent with only 1% health remaining, you could call the pixel representing your health a "magic pixel" since it remained despite the circumstances.
